Volunteer and Mentorship
For local area residents, we have direct client care opportunities for mentorship, as well as non client-related volunteer opportunities. Currently, there are three ways to be involved with direct client care at Love Alaska. Our first initiative, where it all started, is Priceless. Priceless is first and foremost a mentorship program. Our mentors are the heart and soul of Priceless, and have proven the effectiveness of community and relationship for hope and healing of sex-trafficking survivors. Chosen, our second initiative, exists to mentor at-risk youth who are less likely to transition successfully into adulthood based on a number of variables. Both our Priceless and Chosen mentorship programs work in a 2-to-1 ratio of mentors to mentee/client. Lastly, we offer the opportunity to be a volunteer without client-related tasks. Our organization requires an army of volunteers and mentors to be successful, we welcome you to become a part of the team.
